We love Annie Sloan!

Despite upgrading in size, we have definitely downgraded in terms of storage space when buying this house.  We needed a solution but really wanted to avoid filling our home with the contents of Ikea (for the record, I have no problem with Ikea but feel we’ve moved on from that stage of our life). To resolve this problem without spending a fortune we have been scouring Ebay for well made, solid furniture which we can up-cycle into something we’re proud of displaying in our home.

Here are a couple of the projects we have finished so far:

Pine Welsh Dresser

Unfortunately I don’t have a before shot of this, but it was pine with a very orange coloured varnish.
